I have a 2020 Ram 3500HD and the front suspension is in great shape. I drive the snot out of this truck on and offroad.Gary
Does anyone own the newer model of the HD Ram diesel trucks, and how is the front suspension holding up? Just curious on how the beefier suspension is doing.I have a 2004 2500, and yes the front suspension is the weak link in it, but it’s paid for so it’s not going anywhere and it’s cheaper to keep her.🤣

If you keep yours and decide to spend some money on the front end, do the research on upgraded parts. Carli makes great stuff but it’s spendy. Their ball joints are adjustable and rebuildable with lifetime warranty if I remember right. They have a bigger trac bar as well. I upgraded mine with that stuff as well as a red head gear box, 09 and newer linkage, and a set of adjustable control arms (I have a 6” lift and 37’s) and it drives great. I had over 200k before I did ball joints and steering stuff.
Mine eats sway bar end links too, I haven’t wanted to pony up for the Carli ones yet!
They’re the extended ones I need since I have a 6” lift. Not sure they’re any better though but I’ve liked their stuff so far.
I also have a 04.5 ' and have been slowly upgrading my front end. 130K on truck now. Last summer i did the ball joints. Go with EMF rebuilable. Better then Carli and cheaper. Get the 09 Steering rod upgrade and a new stabilizer a 5100 from Biltstiens. While i was at it i installed a steering box stiffener. Its pretty darn good now. I think i want a new steering box and adjustable drag link and i will be done. I also have BD diesel extended and rebuilable sway bar links. They been great so far. One thing i do need i have a 1in level kit on it and the bilstiens i have are stock height and they will bottom out on extend sometimes while off road. So i need to 5100 made for 0-2in lift
