Bear hit by car on hwy 9

Last week, a friend of mine who is a WSP trooper, emailed me to let me know he had to go after a bear that was hit by a car at the Snohomish/Skagit County line on Hwy 9.

Apparently the car hit it, but didnt kill it and it ran away. So, he was following it with his .40 Glock when it suddenly dawns on him.. he is in the woods with an injured bear, and only a sub standard hand gun. 

I told him, next time, give me a call.

Maybe it was him delivered the Bear to Ballard area after bear got recovered?
