WY Deer

I have never hunted WY but I have 4 preference points going in this year.  I know that is not a lot but I am thinking to use them this year.

Anyone here have any experience with an outfitter they would/would not recommend?

Going solo (if I go) so probably best to find an outfitter.

I don’t necessarily have to hunt a wilderness area.  I am also drawn to the wide open desert sage type hunt also.

application deadline for WY deer is May 31.

For deer, antelope thats been the date for years.
Elk deadline is January 31st

I guess you lose touch when all you do is buy a point.

Last time I applied it was March 31st +-.
