Some great updates!!  I'm hearing it has been a really tough spring so far for the bear baiters in Idaho.  I bet things really start picking up next week!!  Good luck!

I've heard some areas don't have all the winter downfall, but it's terrible in our area, I've had a 3 or 4 man crew cutting roads for 3 weeks, costing me a fortune, and we are barely started. Forest circus drives as far as we've cut, turn around and leave, I don't think they even carry chainsaws or else they don't know how to use them?  :bash:

It wouldn't surprise me if bear harvest is half the norm this spring.

I always look forward to this thread! Those great looking birds are giving me turkey envy and have me thinking I've got to get back up there again. Also, that blond bear would be a great money saving bear, not often you get a pre-taxidermied bear.

I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

In November U.S. manufacturing contracted for the the ninth consecutive month. Layoffs across the economy are higher than anytime since the pandemic in 2020 and I just read that the Midwest farmers will be receiving a 12B bailout due to 50 year trade relationships being destroyed. I have to admit that I was a sceptic and didn't believe in the effectiveness in tariffs but I'm a believer now.
