I don't think it will matter much as long as the hens are on the nest and not leaving the eggs to get down below freezing. If you think about it the hen only lays an egg once a day and doesn't even sit on them until she has a large enough clutch to suit her. So the eggs are left to the elements for several days without warmth. That's how they all hatch at the same time.
