32-40 Marlin
« on: May 12, 2009, 11:16:23 AM »
I recently acquired a really, really, really (mid 1800's) old marlin "32-40" lever action and cannot find ammo for it anywhere. Anybody know where to shop for antiquated ammo or am I gonna have to load my own? thanks

Midwayusa.com carries it but is out of stock currently
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

Old Western Scrounger is a good source for this old stuff.  Take a look at this link.  Is that what your looking for?

You will never find ammo for it so why not just sell me the gun? Just kiddin kinda :chuckle:, What a great gun, I would about give a nut for a marlin of that vintage and cal. You will find plenty of ammo, its a popular cowboy action cal too I belive.
