Drano lake reports?

It's about that time of year. Anyone been hearing much? Seems awfully quiet when it's comes to drano this year. Hoping to make it out there to toss some plugs from the bank.

I have seen a few photos posted up by some guides the caught a few. Color of the fish both inside and out is amazing. Eastern WA fishermen and Dead Worm are some groups on FB that the guides visit often.

There's a few fish showing up. This weekend should be good with the counts up, but as always with good numbers of fish there will be corresponding numbers of fishermen.

If your ever wondering how the fishing is at drano look at the dam counts. There’s a direct correlation.

Went out his morning with some friends. Limited out by 730. Fish everywhere, as well as the regular toilet bowl circus. Great time.

Any real bank fishing areas other than that mess by the bridge?

That is the main spot.  I see some folks try fishing it around the corner some times, but I don't know how productive that is.  My buddy has caught 6 off the bank by the bridge.
Cut em!

so whats the secret to this combat fishing to not piss off the other boats??? Just wondering if a new guy can try it without getting shot at by a regular veteran Drano fisherman

The gist of it is don't fish to.light of lead and don't fish to far back. It's a zoo, but it is very manageable, and if the bowl intimidates you fish the main part or the lake.  There's fish to be caught up there. Seems this year it's a 360 flasher with a prawn spinner behind that. The bowl is choreographed by the boats. Match speed, keep your head on a swivel and when someone has a fish on and it runs your way reel up.
