Just leave the bodies lay.
I just have to be in the situation type of guy ,before I could say what would happen.
I'm pretty easy going type guy.
But when I boil over ,it's not gonna be a good day for anybody. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I'm really not that tough....
It usually ends up with my old ,over weight, tired in ten minutes, rolling around in the dirt, punches flying.
Looking like two raccoons fighting in a feed sack.
Then when the fight stops ,nobody really won anyway. :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I’d love to see thieves beat to a pulp and left for dead, but if someone is watching the cars with a side arm, bright orange vest and a sign saying security, the dirtbags will just drive on by!

I’ve always thought a retired guy or just someone who wanted to read a book, relax and make some easy money should just stay at trail heads with a tip jar and watch peoples stuff!!!  Maybe have your side arm or AR on you with a sign saying taking donations and when you get back, your stuff will be fine!!

Unfortunately people blatantly commit crime in front of legit paid security and actual Leo right now so a volunteer security wouldn't do much...

I bet it would deter most scum bags, the others might need a little encouragement to move along.  I'd have a video camera on my person and get good picks of the people and the rig they drove up in, at least its something.  But I'd bet most would just keep going by??  I'd gladly throw a 20 spot in the donation box to know my windows will still be intact when I get back.

My sons truck was just broken into at a park and ride, took everything...it was all caught on camera! The suspect was from King Co. and was EASILY identified by LE...he has 20 plus prior cases for the exact same crime :bash:

You would think in a normal world it would be a deterrent... today's world it's not...

My cop friend would say, hopefully he gets caught by a private citizen one time.

My cop buddy said the other day that they hope citizens start taking care of these scum bags, he says the more private citizens start fighting back, the more the criminals will take notice and have something to worry about.  I 100% agree.  A dead man tells no tales

People will do anything to feed their drug habit. Stuff is so addictive, the withdrawals so bad.

Even here in the Tri-Cities, people getting their windows broke at the Candy mountain TH. BIG, wide open parking lot, VISIBLE from the freeway, and folks come back to a smashed window or stolen car.

If I was planning to park at a trailhead, I think I’d remove everything from my truck that’s worth money, and just leave my windows down and/or unlocked.

Yeah, pretty obvious problems with highly contested solutions.  For example:  getting rid of narcan would probably drop the crime rate a bit.
