It’s so unfortunate that this is the truth. On a side note, have you ever seen those 3” needle darts that fly out of a blow gun with incredible accuracy? Have you ever noticed the amazing velocity a good quality wrist rocket and a pocket full of ball bearings will achieve?

Had my car dug through a few months ago, people down the street are getting their cars and catalytic converters stolen. Had a car parked outside my house last year with the occupants eyeing out our property, police never showed up to confront them despite being called three times.

Lead would be a great antidote for the rising thefts but I'd rather not go to jail protecting my property (or self) over someone who has repeat offences and should not be in the public.
It's really *censored* stupid that criminals are basically protected in this state, cant do jack to protect yourself unless you want to lose your gun rights, police wont/cant really do much.

...with good reason.

If I was planning to park at a trailhead, I think I’d remove everything from my truck that’s worth money, and just leave my windows down and/or unlocked.

My buddy did that and they stole his floor mats and tire jack.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I like that idea, but I’d modify it a little. Some sort of high budget jacket laying on the drivers seat. And underneath the jacket is a bear trap u-bolted to the frame with the ends of the u bolts bent 90°  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
