Gould’s Turkey

Anyone ever been to Mexico to hunt Gould’s turkeys? Who did you hunt with? How was it? Do they act different then hunting our local Wa turkeys? Been thinking about booking a trip in 2023 or 2024.

Yep, Rio Sonora outfitters in 2016. They are a true mountain bird. More even so than merriams. Really not that difficult to hunt in general.

I went with the same outfitter this year. Heck of a hunt with great staff an accommodations. I wouldn't book again with anyone else or for the first time with anyone else. Brad has an incredible operation. Rio Sanora Outfitters all the way.
