Nosler Accubond for me and my family. Have always preformed very well on everything from moose to antelope and prairie dogs

Dead is dead.  I chose Sierra but do both Sierra and Berger now days but have been successful with so many other brands its probably not fair to choose any one as being better than another.

Used to be Berger VLDs, but my new rifle likes the Hornady PH ELDx better.  Still have the other rifle, still shoot Bergers out of it.  My older son uses it now.  My younger son shoots a 6.5cm and it likes the Hornady ELDxs too.

...that being said, I got tricked into buying 2 boxes of super-stupid expensive Noslers during the Ammo Famine.  Haven't tried them yet.  I honestly hope they're not great... :chuckle:

Barnes TSX, shoot well enough, relatively available and reasonably priced and a very proven design that has worked well with everything I hit with it.

Those are "up next" for me.  I suspect its only a matter of time before they are crammed down our throats by this screwball state so its in my near future plans.  Im fine with it, just have to consider their limitations.

Yeah, not fancy but works for what I do.  I originally went with it because I didn't want fragments of lead in the meat and haven't had a reason to look elsewhere.  If I end up getting a longer range rifle I probably will, but for regular stuff it is effective.

I chose nosler because I think the accubond and partitions are super hard to beat.  If we could have chosen multiple, I would have put hammers as my second choice....but only because I don't have the number of kills with hammers as I do with nosler bullets.  The animals that have fallen to hammers have died very fast and the wounds were very impressive.  More animals will fall to hammers this year, so we will see if my opinion changes and they become number one.

Berger. I’ve killed lots of animals with different bullets and they are the most devastating by far at all ranges
:yeah:  it’s like a granade.

Probably 90% of my animals have died by partition or accubond. I trust both 100% and neither have ever let me down with proper placement.

I do run hornday eldx and dgx in some rifles.

It depends on the rifle cartridge, and game being hunted.

For faster velocity rifle cartridges, I prefer Nosler - both Accubond and Partition.  As well as Hammer and the old North Forks (the company that bought them is producing them again, their US distributor is in LaGrande, OR).  Some Nosler Ballistic Tips in some cartridges as well.  Berger VLD in one of the cartridges just because that rifle really likes those bullets....and agree those Hunting VLDs are a grenade that drops the animal quick if put into the heart/lung area.

For slower velocity rifle cartridges, most products work as you don't need a premium bullet in the slower velocities range.  I usually go Speer Hot Cor or Hawk bullets for those cartridges.  Some Sierra too.
