These were awesome.  Great recipe.  Would alter the recipe with less salt or less time on the pickle juice brine.  I did it for 24 hours.  I loved it but it was a bit pickly/salty. This years tom.

We have been cooking our turkeys like that also (for probably 20 years) delicious 👍 we don’t do as much prep, we just cut up, bread it and cook in as much butter as possible. Nice Tom

I've brined turkey, chuckar, and grouse nugs in pickle juice for many years as well. Definitely not an everytime thing, but a nice twist on occasion.

I do something similar to that.
Involved a meat hammer ,flour gravy,then dry flour with Johnny's ,and pepper.
