Road kill moose

Dead moose on Palouse HWY this AM, looked like last year calf.  A mile or two from Spokane city limits

Better look at the rules. You can’t legally take a moose in accordance with the written rules. Deer and elk only. It’s all BS tho. Tried to convince a game warden to let me salvage a bear a few years back that was hit. I truly had no need for the meat, hide or skull and even offered to tan the hide and donate back to WDFW for education purposes and it was still a no, even offered to notch my tag on it….I just hated to see the meat go to waste, just wanted to process it and give most of it away to friends. Wish they could amend the rules to include bear and moose!

about who you know to do that. My neighbor knows a warden and got to take a moose home that was hit

He also said legally. Just because your neighbor knows a warden and let him do it doesn’t make it legal.
