MCARBO speedloader   , initial thumbs down was result of not using it correctly.  Now that Im using it the right way it is better/preferable to the other two.  I will be waiting for the feed ramp polishing kit before I install ramp and mag release.  After watching the polishing video, I decided to take the handgun apart once and polish it first.  Wish I had watched the video first and ordered the kit with the parts, be another week now.

The PMR will be on hand for any blues I run into and we'll see how that goes, and whos/whats to blame.... :chuckle:

This was about the best I could do with CCI maxi-mags

Sticker is 4 inch, used most of that @ 15 yards.

Not good enough yet

And the pistol after 50-60  rounds cycles about 50%
Need better lube or recoil spring, not sure I'll get it super reliable with the red dot on it

I packed mine around all archery elk, I hadn’t really put all that many rounds down the pipe .. I started having feed issues ... so took it down and was really surprised how dirty it was. Ran smoothly after some cleaning and lube.

Installed polished feed ramp, enhanced mag release, trigger, and the stiffener thing in the frame.  Zero ftf in 2 mag dumps, but I will still put their parts in the slide.  Should have just got the full monty instead of changing my mind every time I looked at their videos as eventually I will install all of it.

I now have complete confidence in the pistol that I didnt have before.

Holy cow when did the all in one kit jump up to 250 bucks?  I think I only paid around 150 for my all in one kit that, embarrassing to admit, is still sitting on my bench in the bag it came in many months ago.

I believe Im the limiting factor on mines accuracy, so grouse head shots will go to my 22mag rifle as I dont want wasted opportunities.  But 22 mag it will be for blues as I have never liked picking shot and feathers out of an otherwise perfect breast.

I thought about looking for a threaded barrel for mine as it would be nice to use it suppressed.  Will be interested to see what you land on for a barrel.

F.J. Fedderson makes the most accurate barrel I've tried in mine.  Not cheap, but as always...you get what you pay for.

I have an issue with just how much $ to drop into this platform as once you open up the frame to put in some of the upgrades it becomes crystal clear that the plastics will eventually be too worn for reliable service.  That two piece shell is a cheap flimsy not forever platform.

That is interesting...  I wonder why?  Perhaps cycling issues to do the weight?
