Steel shotshell prices 2022?
« on: June 03, 2022, 05:27:03 PM »
Burned through my last couple cases of 3" nitro steels last season so looking to stock back up.  For the guys who had to buy last season at the height of the shortage did the manufacturers have any of their normal rebates?  Just deciding if I should pick up a few cases at about $250 bucks or wait for better deals?  $70-$80 dollar cases a thing of the past?

I think it’s a thing of the past for sure anymore. Cheapest I’ve been getting was about 179 per case for xperts.

The days of 80$ cases of waterfowl ammo are deader then someone with incriminating information on the Clinton’s.

Kind of what I figured, ordered up a few cases of Kent faststeel 2.0 that shoots well in the Benellis. Figured with the cost of gas itll cost me $100 bucks a trip to the basin so what's the difference, have a barley field planted on the ranch so threw a couple cases of dove loads in for good measure.  If prices come back down will make sure to stack extra deep.
