I have a gaiter question few you guys suggesting brands.  I have a pair of old core 4 elements and they swet/condensate really bad do all of them do it or are some better than others?

I believe all are different in my opinion

I wear gaiters year round, picking berries, rain, snow hunting, whatever.  Used to wear out a pair about every two years but mine last longer now as a codger.  Front closure was a game changer for me compared to the old zip up the back kind.  I’m on my second pair of Kenetreks now, all four of them with repair work showing, plus I bought a pair of OR last year, some kind of bomb proof noisy nylon but good gaiters.   

I often wear gaiters inside my pant legs, especially if the gaiters are noisy and I am hunting.  Also, when it is raining or I’m in wet brush, having pant legs outside the gaiters keeps my boots much drier.  Wet pant legs inside the gaiters drain water inside the gaiter and into boot tops.  Pant legs outside the gaiter shed water outside the gaiter. 

Big calves here, never had trouble with a gaiter staying up.

Absolutely love my Kuiu Yukon gaiters and I work em hard year round. I’ve never tried anything else though, because I’ve never wanted anything more than what I get from them.

same here and I’ve tried darn near every brand out there and Yukons are my go to year round even when wearing shorts in somer I carry to be able to get through nasty stuff

I really like my Yukon gators. I owned a pair of kenetrek for a long time. They did great as well.

Wear my KUIU gaiters every time I go in the woods and they have been great

Check out the Kuiu Scree gaitors if you want something light weight and breathable. Otherwise I would say yes, the heavier, sturdier gaitors are going to make you sweat more and trap in moisture. In my experience anything that is waterproof is not breathable.

No matter the boot or gaiter, after 5-10 days in constantly wet weather, walking through wet brush, my boots wet out. Like Okanogan said, I wear the gaiters under my pants to shed water. My buddy and I have "designed" better gaiters--really boot covers--in conversation, but have not implemented the design. I've looked at various super gaiters designed for mountaineering. They incorporate rubber rands that hug the boot just above the tread. They are usually designed for super cold temps, not wet.

Anybody every use that type design hunting? Ever solve the problem of staying dry on a 10-day wet backpack hunting trip?

I have often wondered why a company doesn't have pants that have some kind of system set up to add gaiters to. Some kind of attachment system just below the knee so that they stay up and fit correct

be easy to do, sew on a loop at the bottom of your pants and use a blousing strap above your calf - voila!     

If you normally wear a 32 inseam, order a 36!

Seems to me it would be an easy way to have people buy your product versus a competitor

Yes, but not that bothersome.
