Montana Law HR246 Why not Washington
« on: May 14, 2009, 06:42:18 PM »
How many have read about Montana law stating HB 246 declares that any firearms, ammunition or firearms accessories made and retained in Montana are not subject to any federal authority under Congress's commerce clause power.  For questions about the specific terms of HB 246, read the bill.
If you would like to read about it and all the other states that have followed suit in this go to the following addy
http://progunleaders.org/MFFA/
Sure wished Washinigton was one of these states but donot see this happening anytime soon.

I just sent an email to my Representatives about this, asking them to introduce something similar here in Washington.
If you would like to do the same here is an easy place to find there email addresses:

By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

I emailed one of my Representatives and this was his response:

Tyel,

Thank you for your message of support to Montana's recent bill.  My colleagues and I have been watching this bill and its passage through the Montana legislature, and are interested in its success.

However, session is already over for this year, so it is my hope that we can take the task of researching this bill for next session.

Again, thank you for your interests and support in our gun rights.  If you have any further questions or thoughts, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

Sincerely,

Senator Dan Swecker
