I'll take a whiskey and diet cola. Gotta get slim for bear season.  Then fit enough to out hike everyone (AND their stock or ATVs) during muzzy OTC deer and elk seasons.

Whole lotta nothin'.  Struck out in Wyoming and now Washington.  My wife asked me if that made my odds go up for next year, 'bout spit out my wine:(.  Told her, "In actuality, yes, about a hundredth of a percent!".  27 points for moose don't get you nothing except another worthless point, same with sheep, goat, quality elk and deer, not quite as many points in those, but another one for next year.

I drew a POINT IN EVERY CATEGORY!  Best year ever!   
I'll have 22 points for elk next year!  How exciting is that?

I guess I better stop in here, it's been a few years. 2020 I drew Quality elk Mudflow rifle with 12 points, 2021 drew Antlerless elk Mudflow muzzleloader with 7 points, and a 2nd deer tag in eastern Wa. with 10 points. But before that the last time I drew was in 2012.

So yesterday I got my Wyoming deer results at 4:00 in the morning and see a big UNSUCCESSFUL, for a hunt that I was about 90% sure I would draw with 6 points. Turns out we needed at least 11 points. 

Then Washington is posted, and knowing my odds weren't great for anything, but sure hoping 26 moose points might finally get me a tag, or 10 Quality deer points might get me a muzzleloader tag, but no luck there.

It's okay though, my 16 year old daughter saved the day by drawing a deer youth permit and an elk youth permit. Both just antlerless hunts but she couldn't care less about antlers, and I'm glad she was able to zero out her youth points in the last year she's eligible to apply for the youth permits.

17 pts in quality elk/deer and bull elk and nothing for me.  i was hoping for the best but since i'm looking to move to Nevada at the end of this year i guess i'm leaving points on the table....
