Watch meat eater, it’s that easy  :chuckle:

Haha, never hunted the unit, been in it and hunted all around it for years. I had 27 points. Drew weneha bout  5 years ago, but got my tag/points back due to the grizzly fire. My hearts in the weneha, but with 2 tags, it’s just so hard to draw anymore. Mt view was my 2 nd choice and got it. I’ll bust my a$$ in it just as I would anywhere else. Just hoping for no fires. It’s been a struggle trying to draw again

I’ve seen all the meateater stuff. I know the terrain. I never said it was easy.

PM me if you want to dive into specifics. Happy to share waypoints and experiences.

Awesome tag. Hard hunt terrain wise in NF and swirly wind on 4-0. Lots of elk and opportunities. Will have pressure from rifle Natives on 4-0 but didn't get in the way much off the road system. Tons of bears.

Been apart of quality hunts in the past 2 years. Last year was wonky with fire closures so hopefully nothing for you in the way of closures this year.

I have had some fun in that unit !!! Good tag and probably the only unit in the blues that isn't struggling with its population

Hunted that unit as a kid.  I was about to make my triumphant return either with camera or longbow in hand, then I saw it on meateater  :bdid:   I figured that would bump it for awhile.   I hope you have a great hunt.   That country isnt for the meek
