Selkirk Youth Cow tags
« on: June 27, 2022, 01:28:14 PM »
My son and daughter drew their first elk tags!  Modern Firearm Cow elk tags in the Selkirk unit.  We're super excited but I don't know a thing about that unit.  I'm planning to call a biologist in the area for more information but is there anyone on here that has hunted that area that can help me make it a good experience for them?  It is during the general season from Oct. 29-Nov. 6.  From what I've seen the elk numbers aren't very high...but the % of success rate for the youth cow hunt last year is what drew me to apply there.  Thanks in advance for any input! Feel free to PM me as well.

Pm me if you're not getting all you need.  I can probably help you get on some good private hay fields.
