Does any one have any extra frozen beaver meat they want to sell?

I take my grandson back to Upstate New York for two weeks of small game hunting.last year we did some trapping for fisher, fox & coyotes.
We used gray squirrel hides & guts for fisher bait and caught two of them. Beaver Meat is suppose to be excellent fisher bait. I can process it and freeze it in vacuum sealed bags the size we will be wanting to use. . Besides the twof ishers we caught three red foxes.
This year we will be trying to catch some gray foxes, bobcats and coyotes.

When I go back from mid November to mid December we will try our hand for beaver as well.
But will need some beaver meat  for the last week of October for the fisher traping season.
I mailed one of the fishers and two of the red foxes back here to get mounted. The extra red fox I gave to my taxidermist.


We did take a bunch of bloodshot deer meat and vacuum sealed it in usable portions for trapping bait and have in a freezer back there forthis coming trapping season.
We need to pick up a few more 330 conibears.
When I go backfor a month of deer season we spend a couple of days up in the Adirondacks and Pine Martin will be open so a little bit of luck we might catch one of them.

That’s exactly right, sources of fat were few and far between

I'm curious. Anybody here ever eat beaver meat? I wonder what it tastes like. Seems to me it could be decent table faire? Not that it can be sold of course but makes me curious

Beaver meat, minus the tail, is excellent table fare. We eat all that we trap lol. It’s like roast beef but greasier

I’ll grind it with 5:1 beaver to smoked bacon ends and pieces and make burgers. Awesome
