I'm surprised there are that many people that didn't at least see this hunt option when they bought a license, on the licensing page :dunno:.

That's not something new....You get to hunt Sept 1 - Dec 31 with any weapon I believe is the season.

you don't draw it or apply for it...you buy a raffle chance or 10. it's like a door prize...just like all the other raffle tags we've always had offered to us. you can buy as many chances as you want. what antlershed said as far as season goes...with whatever weapon you want, as long as there was an open season at some point in the 09 season.
if you have it you can hunt with a rifle during the archery season, etc.
i believe it is a 2nd tag too.

That's the only raffle ticket I bought. Funds are a little tight this year.   :bash:

I don't think he tried very hard. It didn't seem like he was very serious about it. Seems he didn't realize what he had.  :'(

Now that you mention it, I do recall that gentleman, and yes, it did seem like he was a little puzzled about where to go.
Jack, if you don't draw it, how do you git the dang thing :dunno::chuckle:

After the letter I wrote the legislature today, I'll have as much chance of getting that one as I have at a late tag before max. :)
