I’m in this year. First time

The great part of Idaho is even though it's your first year putting in, you have just as good of a chance as anyone.

I love their system compared to the rest. If draw results were a little sooner that’d help. But i do like the rest of it.

Arguably the best system in the country, absolutely the best system for Non-Residents.

Agreed. There’s always a chance And I love how they make you choose either Elk/deer/antelope or OIL species

Yes, that is what makes it the best, otherwise it would just be the same as New Mexico really.  I do like having variety with some states having preference, others bonus and New Mexico and Idaho with no points, however, most of the systems do suck, if you aren't invested for 15-20+ years already.

If I had to choose one, it would be Idaho for sure, plus if every state did that, there would be a better chance at folks drawing both OIL and quality deer or elk depending on their real preference.  Also, like to see only 1 option for each state for each species.

Idaho has been good to me over the years. I actually feel appreciated as a sportsman in that state.

Yeah regardless I feel odds in Idaho for deer and elk in specific quality units are better than Washington quality bull or deer tags

Yes, it was 2020, my then 12 year old pulled his first bull tag.  Hoping one of the boys can get that same tag again this year.
