I've got a raincover I bought from Fotosharp, a Seattle company. I know a couple guys who keep plastic grocery bags handy for emergencies. In dusty conditions I just throw a T-shirt or other cloth over the camera until I need to shoot.

I use the plastic grocery bags as I don't shoot in the rain that much. I find the bigger tough ones that don't rip easy. I cut a tiny hole for the eye piece and put the eye cover on over the plastic. All the controls can be used through the plastic. The larger bags will cover some of your lens too. I use mostly L series lenses these days though and most are water resistent.
