They'll keep going after accessories, ammunition etc..pass legislation restricting use and transport. It will be the little things that will add up. This bill was purely political pandering to try and earn a few more D votes. And it show's what they are capable of if they ever control the house and Senate. God help us. No offense, that is what everyone thought in 1994!

I asked our Sheriff and I got a quick nope. Of course Sheriffs are elected where Poilice Chiefs are appointed so they have to be careful or their Mayor will send them packing. Put them on the hotseat and see what you get. Would make a good thread. You have a lot more faith in the police than I do. They have no problem stomping on your rights. They just use the excuse that they don't make the laws. They just enforce them.Sent from my SM-G991U using TapatalkWell maybe thats because I was in the business for 31 years and my Dad was in it before me. And I can assure you that if I was still in the business I would never come to your door for your guns and the many other badge carrying guys would either. Funny we actually talked about the possibility way back when and all agreed we would never violate the 2nd. I think we are still pretty safe today. I pray a fellow badge carrier never cones to my door for my guns. It just wouldn't end well. Please remember, most guys out there with a badge feel as we do. I admire your comment to the 2nd amendment. But history shows, many in law enforcement will do just that. Many of the firearms illegally confiscated during Katrina, have never been returned. It will happen again. There was a video few days ago, of an ATF officer along with local Sheriff department, showed up looking for firearms that a citizen previously bought.Asking if he still had them, and could they see them. The owner, unwittingly answered their inquiries. He should have told them to get the heck off his property without a warrant. They antimidated him into answering what they had no legal right to know.As long as there are ATF, or any other alphabet soup government agency, willing and to push the boundaries and with local law enforcements help. The only rights we have are those we ourselves stand up for.

They are not ...I hope... stupid enough to go door to door if something like this actually passes..AR ownership has nearly tripled since the 94 ban expired. They'll legislate AR owner's to death without actually taking away the gun...

Could still get ARs, just not the tacti-cool ones.
