Do you have to pay cash? It’s been a long time since I bought a license in the store.

I hope WDFW is being cautious with their wording.... To say they are "trying to get is done by Sept. 1" is disrespectful to the public they are paid to assist.  I can't believe there is a justifiable reason why they won't be able to release the second list  prior to 9/1.  It can't be that complex...I really dislike being negative but this is bringing it out...

I don't think this end is the problem.  I think too much time is given to purchase at the front end.  You either buy it or you don't.   Expecting to make vacation plans on a MS 2nd round is a bit of a stretch.

Another way for the state to make money as a majority of the purchasers dont even take advantage of the permit :dunno:

Run multi-season in January (or even December), they would get more money as people haven't spent it in other states.  Then, run the regular permit draw later and people will still apply since they would look to upgrade or other species.

It's not hard to figure this stuff out if someone is so inclined.  People want to hunt, they need to plan vacations, hotels, etc.  It's not rocket science.  Still farting around with a draw 3 weeks before the season starts does not help hunters.

Agree 100%. No reason the deadline to buy should be run all the way out to July 31st. Especially if they’re going to drag their feet like this distributing the leftovers.

I would for sure support a change. Either pay up front or give you two weeks to buy it before your name gets scratched and it's offered to the next guy in line.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

On 21 June, 2025 the US bombed three Iranian nuclear sites and, according to the President the Iranian nuclear capability was "obliterated". Now it appears the the US is again preparing military strikes on Iran if they won't agree to abandon their nuclear program that is/was reportedly in ruins?????
Who knew that Obama winning an Nobel Peace Prize would lead to this?

So the people who were drawn and then chose not to buy it and then turned around and bought it. That way do they retain their points?

If you got drawn the first time around then you lost your points anyway then you have until July 31st to buy it, if you dont buy it by then then you are out for good until next year.

I emailed WDFW and it sounded like they're going to pull the next bunch of names on Monday.
