My multiseason deer application status was just changed from "not selected" to "selected".  Yay for me.  I haven't received any email yet (and I did check my spam folder).  What's the process now?  There's no way to buy it online.  Do I have to go to a vendor in person and turn in my existing tag?

This process (if there is one) is crazy.

Still nothing for me, looks like I'm destined to get screwed out of one this year!  This system terrible.  Less than half the names pulled actually want tags, while those of us who do want them are going to get screwed out of archery season.

Yes, go to a vendor and exchange your tag.

Another deer winner here, no email.. to think I drew the multi elk with 3 points 5 years ago and didn't use it as much as I should since they were so "easy" to draw was a bummer

Still not selected for deer. I can't really complain with 1 point but maybe I'll get drawn by late November.

I'm sure WDFW may have screwed their directions up again, but this is an excerpt from the "news update" WDFW posted regarding extra multi-season tags....  I would log on and see if I could buy my tag.

"The remaining 125 elk and 2,413 deer multi-season tag winners will receive an email from WDFW notifying them that they are eligible to buy a multi-season elk tag. Hunters can buy licenses online, at an authorized WDFW license dealer, or at a WDFW regional office or headquarters in Olympia."

Very happy.  Mine shows selected!  Really wasn't feeling good when the odds were posted.   Good luck this season everyone.

Approximately half of the tags were issued on the 1st leftover drawing. So if this trend continues I would say there will be about 600-700 tags leftover after the second round. Maybe more since the archery season will have already started at that point and people will have made other plans. 10 days to buy your tag is 5 days too long in my opinion. This process is painfully slow and obviously there was little thought put into this with the limited time left before the opener. Par for the course when it comes to dealing with WDFW.

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

I agree 100%.  There should have been a new notification every Monday until they were gone.  We should be several rounds into this instead of 2.

So damn depressing! First year in as long as I can remember that I won’t have a multiple season deer tag.
Sure wish I would have known prior to putting in for special permits.
Extremely frustrating!
