Well that sucks....we were gonna get two days of epic goose hunting in before the moose hunt this year.   :yike:

Wait.....what is the definition of "processed"??  Cut up and frozen maybe....?

Anybody gonna tell APHIS/USDA what a migratory waterfowl does?  That's a pretty tall fence if that's the case... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Wonder what they would say if you flew your harvested birds across vs. driving them.  Way of the migration.

It says raw meat so idk. It would be worth checking for sure.  I really agree with this rule. Many Waterfowl hunters  could do better at processing or breasting the animals as well as carcass disposition after they breast them.  It's pretty crazy how it looks around the Skagit and Whatcom areas when the birds show.  Piles of breasted birds from ag lands to the uplands and most points in between.  If they are carriers and you get into a high concentration it could be devastating to both the farm community as well as the local raptor community.  Many who participate could help the overall image by both watching where used birds get dumped and policing your brass.  :twocents: take it for what is worth.

Just so those are aware, the rules have changed on this as of Sept. 12th. You can now bring game birds in under a set of guidelines. See below for the most current info!
