I bought one of Alden's knifes close to a year ago and I've skinned a possum, cleaned 5 ducks, and two grouse with it so far and it's still razor sharp. It's very well made and I can tell it's going to last a lifetime.
So don't hesitate to buy one of his beautiful custom knifes!

Thanks Zane! That's a good knife, I'm glad you're enjoying it! Just out of curiosity... did you eat the possum? Nice picture too.

I thought about trying to eat it but after smelling the smell that came off the critter, I decided to let carcass be coyote food.
I've heard mixed reviews on the edibility of possums so I'm sure my curiosity will get to me someday, maybe in the form of possum stew.

Yeah, I don't blame you. They're weird critters.

Seems like a lot of work for a marsupial :dunno:

Yes, I finished it today and am working on pictures right now. Should get five chefs, including the one you were interested in, posted tonight.

I've been spending around 35hrs/week in the shop and have finished five fine knives today, with three more just needing an oil finish in the handle. I put all of these with a little more information about them on my website here (https://aldgracole.wixsite.com/aldencoleknives/shop), and will be trying to do so for ALL of the knives I have available soon. Let me know if you are interested in one of these, and thanks for looking!

The top one has a Purple G10 handle, and the bottom one is Desert Ironwood.

These Chef knifes are the real deal, if you are on the fence get off and buy one!

We have had the one pictured for a little over 2 weeks and it is the only kitchen knife that makes it out of the drawer most days. We could not be more pleased with how it performs and I really like the Iron wood handle that I selected.

Thanks Alden for a great product!

Today it got in some good work, finally got to cut up a brisket! Felt like a way more noble cause  than just veggies and small steaks
