Thanks for the heads.  Couldn't resist the temptation and picked up a 4.5-14 for my .17hmr.

That's a crazy price on the 4.5 x 14.

Such a good deal I had to order one. I robbed a Leoupold off my old 30 06 to use on my new x-bolt last year. This Burris is going on the 06

Crazy, they wont adjust the price so have to return the first 1 and bought another for the lower price.

And price went up to $160 for the bigger one. The 3-9 is still $89.
29 yrs Army as an instructor with weapons and transportation. Now play time at my own expense.

I picked up 2. 

No idea what I will do with them. 

Couldn't pass at that price.

Crazy they can discount them by 66% and still make $.  Yeah I understand the lost leader concept of selling something for around cost cuz you are gonna buy other stuff at a premium but in this instance what else are they making $ on you from other than buying a set of rings---not sure if Burris sells them ?  The cost mark up on these things must be incredible....66% ?

I really like the 3x9x40, have planted a few deer using one. Great scope!! Great deal!
