Elk Season 2022 “Tech Tip”.
« on: July 12, 2022, 07:46:43 PM »
That most wonderful time of the year is approaching quickly, it’ll be here sooner than we realize.  Share a tip that we should add to our checklist as we travel down the path to elk season.  Needed gear, gear prep and check, tactics contemplation and walk through/practice, on-going range time  and confirmation of your weapon accuracy,  you get the picture.

I’ll start with a simple one, get your hunting boots cleaned and oiled!

My buddy called a bull in for me with one of those.  Came in on a string and I arrwoed him at 30 yards.  It certainly worked that time!

I know some hunters who have a youtube channel who do just this and kill some giant bulls in ID and MT on general tags

Don't assume they're steep and deep.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Bring an extra hoochie mama! Use them correctly and sound like another herd nearby and the elk will come to you. I know this.
