Before & after
« on: May 22, 2009, 06:21:51 PM »
Yesterday was a good day in the turkey woods. Called this guy in about 5:00 PM with one of my scratchbox calls and one of my wingbones. Worked him for almost an hour before he presented a shot.  Finally took the shot at 5 yards and he went only about 30 after the hit.

Yeah baby ... excellent !!  I like to use a wingbone later in the season too ... they just don't hear too many of those so still will respond well. Congrats ... great looking bird.   :chuckle:

Great looking bird.  Congrat's on getting him so close and closing the deal with a long bow no less.  Is that home made, and do you make your own arrows?  Great bird.
