Concrete patio
« on: July 14, 2022, 07:16:05 PM »
The wife and I just moved in to our new house and are wanting to have a concrete patio added in the back yard! 20x20 or so, anyone on the forum in the Everett/ Lake Stevens area do this as a business? Trying to decide size, shape, finish also! Hopefully get this done fairly soon if possible!

When MudMan did mine 5 years ago he was in Tenino.  Don't know if he moved.  My suggestion is the bigger the better.  This spans the entire back of my home...just over 70'

Tagging along.  I would like to have a concrete pad installed on the side of my house for an RV parking spot.  If anyone will come to Davenport

Nowhere in your incoherent rambling did you come close to what can be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber having heard it. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Good luck, I have been trying to get someone to come out for months, either they stop returning phone calls, way over priced or too busy to give a bid. Im trying to do a 26x13 and have gotten bids from $2500-$7500.

That's 31 CY of concrete (4" thick).  Figure $140/CY in material costs = $4,340.

Get another quote.  I'd say this should be $40/SY work.  So figure about $12,000 or so for your work.  That's eastside, private wage work, that we have good historical data on.

Not trying to muddy the waters here, but 24K is an outrageous price for that slab.

When I did the slab for my shop concrete was $165 a yard. That was in October of last year. I assume it’s the same or higher now. They poured 44 yards. It was expensive. With their labor I think 24k is pretty accurate.

Diego Miranda, used to work with this guy a lot. Cant spreak to his prices but we prepped a lot of holes for him and I always liked working with him and his guys and they did good work. He's out of the north end somewhere, I would have hired him to do some work for me but he didn't want to go to Wilkeson.

We used Mack and Sons for our back patio/fire pit. His website says Monroe, but they just moved to the Arlington area about a year or so ago. Did good work returned calls and did all the prep work. You can google his website as well has a ton of information.
