HW picture size
« on: July 23, 2022, 05:57:51 AM »
So I know pics need to be resized (600x800) for the forum, but every once in a while someone posts pics that end up on here that are huge (usually the forum blocks this from happening), need to scroll around to see the whole thing.

What's up with that?

The black tail picture thread posted last night.  It’s under deer and titled “black tails enjoy”.  That is one example.

If my copy and past works on my phone….here is the link.

So those pics aren't actually uploaded onto HW servers, they're tapatalk hosted 3rd party.

The poster there could select smaller images so as to not blow up the pictures so big

Tapatalk basically works as it’s own photo hosting site. If you remember photobucket back in the day, same concept.

Photobucket still works that way as well.   I try to always make my images smaller when I load them onto there, but once in awhile I forget, or I grab it off of an image I have on facebook.
