Black Bear Pics
« on: May 17, 2009, 08:19:56 PM »
I ran across this bear heading over the North Cascades Hwy.  I had to get a few pics.  A nice looking black bear.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

looks like a good sized bear... but i'm far from a pro at  judging their size. good looking bear either way. thanks for sharing.

I went out for a couple hours yesterday and didn't see anything like that. That would be a shooter no questions asked. Very nice looking bear.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

A friend of mine was coming down Highway 20 around 4 PM on Sunday and about ran over a group of people parked in the middle of the road taking pictures of a bear. Hopefully it wasn't you. He's a little ruff around the edges and was yelling for the "tree huggers to get out of the road before someone gets killed". He was pulling a trailer and was having a hard time stopping with the cars blocking the road. He did day it was a nice bear so it might have been that one.
