Last year I wasn't able to hunt him. This year he may not be so lucky. Once I get him on the lawn loading it might be next challenge.

 :chuckle:

Not in the least. It is getting him to the tractor forks. Then I will put him on the scale. It is just getting him rolled into the transport vehicle. The first leg of his trip.  :chuckle:

Then the next question just how many 1lb freezer bags do I need for that much burger, or 1/4 pound patties.

This was last year during the heat. I was in the same location 2 weeks ago and the grass if he was in it would be about to his nose. The bush in front of him is a hawthorn thicket.
Good luck this season buddy.  Hope you find him this year or the grandson

Seen one small one yesterday ,couldn't seal the deal.
Nothing this mourning.
Gotta work a few days, probably be out next week again.
Seen more huckleberry pickers than anything, few Elk,mule deer ,whitetail, turkey .
You know everything but the bear I was looking for.

Awesome bear!  Congrats!

Gary
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset
