There was a wounded one on blackbird island just a couple days ago.  Came over the law enforcement channel and was turned over to WDFW.  Lots of bears in leavenworth.

I got this smaller boar on Saturday. The week prior I was about 25 feet from him in some thick reprod but couldnt get a shot. A buddy of mine had him in the scope at 100 yards and couldn't get a shot either because he ended up winding me. We had quite a few other sightings and mishaps. I was hunting my way out and decided to watch the cut where we saw this bear the week before. I was planning on sitting on a stump until dark, but about 10 minutes in, I could hear him ripping a stump below me. The thermals were still rolling uphill so I started sneaking downhill until I could see him way down in the bottom about 100 yards away. It was a pretty nasty pack out but I made it thanks to a buddy who was willing to stay all night.

That fella looks well fed.  I was there last weekend, walking that little island trail right in the park along the river and there was a giant turd sitting in the middle of the path.  Suspect that big fella just lives right in the swamp/pond on that little island in the river.

We walked the trail this morning and there were lots of bear turds in the trail. Lots of signs warning of bears and cougars.

It'd be an easy poke off the back of my pool lounger, but then I'd have to put my drink away and get to work. The audience probably wouldn't be too thrilled with me.

A second bigger black one just came out in the same spot and then retreated back into the brush. Something bad could happen easily here. There's a ton of people around.

That’s cool to see them. Hopefully people are smart and don’t try and get close to them.

If you hear the crack of a gun in the morning just go back to sleep.
