New Williams Site Set

I got an email about these from Muzzle-Loaders.com yesterday and picked one up for my ultra-lite.  Hopefully it works out very well.

Nice, I've been really wanting this set up on my muzzleloader, but I've been buying bow tags lately. Heard a lot of awesome things about these sights.

Ya I ordered one for each the ultra lite and disc extreme, the last ones with the Lee shaver inserts sucked in low light where I think these will shine

Nice to see the Fiber is .030" and not the normal .060". I might have to get a set for my Disc Extreme to replace the ramp and hood combo I have.

This makes me happy as the Western Precision sight I put on my Accura was garbage in low light and timber. Now with this new sight she can get back on my list of guns to hunt with.

I was really hoping that they would eventually come out with something like this.  I already have a Williams sight on my muzzleloader and noticed that you can buy just the insert itself for $14 instead of buying a whole new sight.  Only drawback is those inserts are on backorder right now...

The original housing doesnt have some of the cutouts that the one that comes with the fiberoptic. so light might not be as good if you just put the fiber blade into an older sight.

Yeah, I noticed that as well and could be a factor, but I'll try it out and see how much it affects it.  Worst case, I'll just drill out my own holes.

any chance you have a part # for the Disc Extreme? I'm not seeing it listed

This would be the one for the DE... the Ultra light has skinnier barrel.

Keep shooting muzzleloaders - They are a blast!!

That looks very similar to what sabotloader told me how to build.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if the Disc used the same as the Bighorn. This is a pretty intriguing option

Installed mine last night and will try and make it to the range this week but my initial observations are it's going to work out nicely. I really like the smaller fiber optic rod and the outside of the housing just so happens to perfectly line up with the inside of my peep so there is no gap or overlap if that makes sense.

Wetwoodshunter that is the set up I run on my DE. Only I custom build a front post by taking a steel sight with the brass bead and drilling it out on a mini mill and installing a .030" fiber. I found the .060" fiber was way to big and covered a deers chest completely from back to belly @150 yds. I like what I have but since the fiber in the new precision site is .030" and easily replaced I might switch to it so I don't have to go through the trouble of making a new one if I accidentally break the one I currently have.

I did not realize that it was .03" instead of .06". I will pick up the insert when they come in stock and throw it in the precision housing that I have laying around. I tried that one before and couldn't see the crosshairs in the trees. My gun only gets used for Roosevelt elk, I have yet had the opportunity to sight down on one.

I put it on my knight ultra lite and shot last night got it dialed in at 100 yards then shot again at dusk, just as accurate and the front blade glows and very visible compared the the last model that had the cross hair inserts that you couldn’t see at dusk or dark timber
100% happy with it

Well my bighorn uses the same sights as my disc extreme and I know it is the same sight that a mountaineer uses.  I think the ultra lite has a little bit smaller diameter barrel.  The one I ordered for my disc extreme was part #W618190G-FFOS.  It was the green fiber optic insert.  And it was 48.95 + shipping of 9.95.  No tax.  They had just the inserts for 11.95

just got my sight in and it fit my disc extreme and my bighorn.  Fairly tall sight.  I use the FP Legend peep sight so I have lots of adjustment.  Here is the one I ordered.

Man the more I look the more confused I get. Would one of these work for a traditions pursuit g4 ultra light?

I purchased this for my encore I did not like it in low light over a dark target. Ended up taking it off. I'll wait until I get the fibre optic insert for it.
