I'm getting the crazy idea of going after prairie dogs in South Dakota. Has anyone had experience there? At this point, I know almost nothing about this endeavor, except, western SD is better, and that's about it! Not looking for a guided trip, I understand there's plenty of public land.
I would really like to combine it with pheasant season, but not sure on timing.
Any tips would be appreciated.
