Great elk hunt for goda Sauk unit
« on: August 17, 2022, 03:06:25 PM »
Today im pretty happy. I love helping people an it should be everyone's mission to share opportunities.  Made a call an got a fellow member an opportunity to hunt a big parcel of private property for his disabled any bull tag. 11 bulls in the pasture an its looking like a great opportunity since there's lots of elk an they haven't been hunted in years. I'm looking forward to his success an im very happy to help out on a chance to fill that tag. Sauk is a tough hunt but there is elk. Congrats my neighbor an fellow sportsman. I hope everyone is helping others this year!!! Supper excited

What a cool thread!

Please keep us posted on how the hunter does.

And thank you for going further.

Good on you for helping. I hope he drew the bull tag and not the disabled tag.  They ended the disabled bull harvest years ago. If it's 2614 then it's antlerless.

Update is he had a couple good bulls but no shot. Then he helped his son on the east side. He will be back in January to the property.
