Seconded on the Tactacam (which I think are just branded as Reveal now?). Service is one of those things that shouldn't really depend on the camera manufacturer. If you get service on your phone in a spot, the camera should as well. The antenna should be stronger than your phone's. Mine have only been in the field 6 weeks but have taken 1600 and 2300 photos and are still reading 100% battery. Energizer lithiums. Just note that they take very specific SD cards due to the write speed needed. Can't just buy any old 16 GB card at office depot. Very happy with the app and settings as well. Super easy to register a new camera and adjust the settings from home. And when you set the camera up in the field you can connect to it via "wifi" and get the live image from your camera so you can adjust it properly. On my buddy's Steathcam's we always have to guess, then send a test photo and wait 5 minutes for it to come through. The plans are reasonable and priced similarly to the competition. There's an overage protection (which I've used extensively based on how much activity the cameras have seen) for like, $5 for 500 more photos. Definitely like that instead of the camera just not sending photos after you hit the limit.

I just bought 2 Tactacam reveals, had a little issue on activation, but was resolved.Going to get at least one more because I like having one on my camp..I get notifications within minutes..After having my camp stolen last year, that peace of mind is awesome!
