Just wanted to show the rack on this thing, I got to finish my elk from 2007 today.. So does anyone have any idea why it would grow like this?

Hey I like your work, you've done a really good job on this.  How much does it cost to do an elk like this?  I was also wondering if it costs extra to have it bugling?  What is your turn around time on doing an elk?

Thanks for the compliment

On elk I charge 700+. The only time that I charge over the 700.00 if someone brings in a monster bull that will need a lot of modifications to the form to make it fit correctly.

My biggest bull so far that I have done was a nice size 5x5 and I still only charged the 700.

I do charge extra for bugling. It is an additional 100.00 for a bugling bull.

My turn around time is always less than a year, unless there is a sickness in the family or a natural disaster.

If you look at my website, there is a link below you can see some of the other work that I have done.

Thank You

Just a guess, but I would imagine that bull had a wound or injury to a leg while the antlers were growing.  Usually it's the opposite side of the funky antler.  I've seen a lot of bulls harvested that seem to have something wrong with a leg (old bullet injury, embedded broad head, hoof injury) and their rack is not even.  :twocents:
