5 Foot Rattler with a bow

Nothing better than a good BBQd rattler!  Hunted and ate them all the time in the Mojave desert.  Mojave greens have a bit sweater meat, in my opnion, than a normal rattler.  But all are very good!

That is a huge snake! I am not really a fan of poisonous snakes, We have Copperheads, Cotton Mouths, and Pygmy Rattlers out here. I have to admit Copperheads and Pygmy's are really cool looking but darn near impossible to see them unless they move because their camouflage is so good.

A 7 year old boy got nailed by a Pygmy Rattler last week playing in a field down the street about a mile. He has had two rounds of hospital stays, and they think he may keep his foot.
