375 Hornady interlock 270 grain
« on: August 26, 2022, 01:10:52 PM »
Any thoughts on this slug. Impact velocities of 2800-2600fps.

I’ve had good results in 30 and 35 caliber on elk and black bear, but these are meant for brown bear. Couldn’t find 300’s. Thanks

The 270s always shot so much better than the 300s in my .375

I bought a couple boxes to shoot in mine. I just have a hard time trusting a new bullet I’m a accubond partition guy.

I hate not being a reloader anymore.  I’d love to be able to find some old 375 cal Winchester fail safes and stick them.  Or get some Norma 350 grainers.  One thing about this Ruger cartridge; not tons of factory loads.. I’d be happy with the old NP.

I shoot the Interlock 270 Spire point recoil proof bullets in my M77 African 375 Ruger. They are extremely accurate with my hand loads using RL15 powder. I haven’t taken any game with them yet but I plan to have it with me in my tree stand while deer/bear hunting next month.
