Anyone hear any bugles yet?
« on: August 28, 2022, 11:41:59 AM »
In the past I’ve heard some elk making some noise around this time. Anyone hearing any yet? Curious if they will be late this year

Buddy of mine just hiked the PCT from Chinook to White Pass. He said the boys were singing up there all night.

Saw the first bull pushing cows on 09/01.

Things are picking up over here in MT. Lower pressure system rolling through today-Sat to help break the heat should only help. Heading out tonight for a few days solo

Listening to them sing out my living room window right now. They're a little ways off but I can hear at least two different bulls.

Had a nice 5 point that wouldn't leave me alone two days in a row (2 miles apart) last wkd while deer hunting. He was out cruising for cows, tearing up trees, and wallowing.
