It’s the opener and I can’t leave until tonight. Let’s see those lucky opener bucks!

Opener on the Palouse.  Got out this morning before work and have nothing to show for it but some seeds in my socks and a furrowed brow.  Onward and Upward.  I ended up closing the gap on a shooter to 120 yards but the deer fed off so I bagged it and went into work.  Good to be the first one on em!  Some pics for your viewing pleasure if you're stuck at the office.  Get some!

got lazy and left the blind in the car. 20 minutes into it Im busted at 40 yards and the stare down began. Seemed like forever but only last a minute probably. Fun, but I wish I would have just brought the blind.

You got more self control than I do, if I was out and seeing deer I don’t think I’d be able to drag myself into work 😂

That's beautiful, how'd you get access? I had late Palouse last year and it was tough finding spots to hunt.
