Got any recipes or simply how you like your lobster mushrooms? Came across loads yesterday out bear hunting, left with 20 lbs I plan to dehydrate

It's a great tasting mushroom. Dehydrating them works very well. Nice score!

I've made this a few times and we enjoy it.  I eliminated the vodka and cut the wine in half and like it better that way.  Not against alcohol just not a fan of vodka and thought the wine overpowered the mushroomy taste too much.  Awesome find -hoping a spot we elk hunt is producing to get a few ourselves in the coming week.

Try making a Lobster mushroom Risotto !   The mushroom holds texture well in this recipe.

Try taking some of the dried ones and grind them up in a spice or coffee grinder.  The powder gives dishes a real blast of mushroom flavor.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice

I'd never guess those were eatable,  I see shaggy mane's and are afraid to eat them.  How would you guys cook shaggy's?

1. Dredged in seasoned flower and fried.
2. Stuffed with pork based filling in a casserole pan with cheese topping.
