Tag Along on Elk Hunt
« on: September 08, 2022, 07:28:10 PM »
I've never hunted elk before and I'd love to tag along with somebody on their hunt so I can learn and enjoy time with like-minded folks. I'm happy with not harvesting and I'm not looking to take your spot. I'd just like an excuse to hang out in the woods a little longer after modern deer winds down. I'm also more than happy to help pack meat!

I'm 27, from the midwest originally, and have lived in Seattle for 5 years. I love the outdoors and have a career in the environmental field. I'm experienced in backpacking and like to think I'm decent at reading the woods, although not the elk woods yet. II don't drink anymore, so if booze is a big part of your elk camp then its probably not the place for me. That being said, moderate drinking doesn't bother me.  get along alright with most everyone except big mouth types. I can work hard when needed. I take hunting fairly seriously, so if you're hunting hard we'll work well together.

Shoot me a pm if you're willing to have me along!
Thanks folks

You are welcome to accompany me to an elk hunt in GMU 368 Cowiche in the Ahtanum State Forest, 30 mi West of Yakima, Oct 28 - Nov?  We'll base camp in the Tree Phones area.  I am a Master Hunter and need either shooting or non-shooting partners.  Fred Zoeller  fzoeller@frontier.com
