So am I the only one that is seeing different prices for optics on the maven website depending on what device/internet connection I'm looking at it on?

I just looked them up on my android phone and my work iPad and they are both at that $997 price.

Ok so if no one else is seeing this and I seem to only be seeing this on my phone it kind of says that it's an issue with my phone right?

I've also looked at other websites vortex, midway, ect and those prices seem to match up normally so this seems to be isolated to the maven sight for me.

I had this happen with schnees last week. My wife looked on her phone and it was regular price. I checked on my phone and it pulled up the sale price. Not sure why. I was able to purchase them for the sale price so didn’t worry about it.

Yeah just buy on the less expensive device and hurry up before they catch the error and increase it  :chuckle:

Already done. Got the demos at $997 been on the fence for some time and this wacky price thing convinced me to finally take the plunge.

That makes me feel a little better that it might not be a issue with my phone.

Delete your browser cookies/cache files and it should fix the issue.

From what I recall working with them in past demos were units sent to people who did a trial or test and then they change value based on use and scuffs

As far as I know the demo units are at a fixed price and are just passed back and forth to potential customers until someone doesn't send them back or I imagine they get damaged.

I work for costco.com. you'd be surprised how often that deleting the cookies/cache for the browser fixes these types of issues

So feasibly you could pay hundreds of dollars over the actual going rate for a item online by not keeping a clean phone? The companies/retailers just gladly take the extra money? No fear of bad public relations.

On our side it comes through for the right price.

It's pretty common to get different prices on items depending on who you are and what device you use. It's all about the tracking!

Or, you could pay less.  It's surprising how often you browse for something and then low and behold a day or two later it's cheaper.
