Check the online regs
« on: September 20, 2022, 10:12:55 AM »
Hard copy regulations show archery deer in 163,178 and a bunch of other units open 9/1-9/15 but online shows it open until 9/25. 9/25 overlaps with the muzzy season in those same unit which opens on 9/24. I just got off the phone with WDFW and was told online is correct and there is a two day muzzy overlap.

First photo is online second is paper regs.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

I am not sure why they made the "corrections" document so hard to find, but it is published in there as well.

I told a guy my daughter was muzzy hunting this weekend and he said it’s still archery season. I said no it’s not, the game department shortened the season and closed archery on the 15th. He texted me photo of web regs and I texted him photo of paper regs. I followed up with if you are right then there is an onverlap with muzzy season and that vacant be right.

In the end I was wrong on all counts. >:(

Hopefully this will save some arguments this weekend in the field when a guy is stalking a muley with a bow and a muzzy guy dumps it from 150 yards away.

So 251 is also open for archery til the 25 according to the online regs.  So I have missed 5 days I could of been still hunting cause a miss print

beyond irritating.  But not surprising with wdfw.  It's always a question with them.  What's next.  Especially after this whole multi season debacle.

Wasn’t it last year that they “mistakenly” shortened the late archery deer season as well?

I posted about this same issue back in April when the hunting pamphlet first came out.
